Team Deverse is the set of internal employees that make all the Deverse programs and events possible. Our diverse culture starts within our Team. Our leaders come from very different backgrounds and possess a wide range of experiences from Computer Engineering, to Business and Finance, and even graphic design and animation. Together, we strike a great balance of perspectives to meet the needs of our clients and students.
Patrick W. Crawford
Cofounder, Chief Executive Officer
Patrick has wide ranging experience with client projects and services across many industries, from mobile development to graphic design and animation. He has development experience from low level hardware design up to web and 3D software plugins. Patrick enjoys his freelance hobby of animation and programming alongside open source communities.
Habib M. Khan
Cofounder, Chief Visionary Officer
Habib is a passionate software engineer who has facilitated the development of mobile apps for nonprofit organizations by students for almost three years. He believes strongly in the potential that every person has to make a positive impact on society. Habib enjoys spending his free time at various networking events, taking leisurely strolls around Boston, and mentoring students.
Jacqueline Chau
Cofounder, Chief Marketing Officer
Jacqui has been inspired by new opportunities to give back to the community, including the mission of Team Deverse. She has a broad experience in enhancing college life on campus, student organizations as well as nonprofits. As a business student, Jacqui also possesses creativity and strong problem solving skills, which contribute to her strategic and versatile character. In her downtime, Jacqui is most likely seen traveling, trying out new restaurants with her friends or meeting new people.
Lambert Shao
Cofounder, Chief Financial Officer
As a business major with experience in computer science, Bert believes that most future innovations will emerge from the intersection of business and technology. Bert leverages his years of experience in both business and development roles to marry the two and create impactful innovations in the world. Bert spends his remaining time exploring the art of Japanese animation and tasting scotch.
Yuen Chun Lee
Cofounder, Chief Operations Officer / Client Relations Manager
YC loves the idea of giving back to community in a meaningful and sustainable way. With years of volunteering and working with nonprofits, she aims to develop a good understanding of what nonprofits need. In her free time, she enjoys browsing Netflix for new TV shows, listening to podcasts (Note to Self is her favorite), and mindlessly scrolling through Imgur (love).
Kevin Mannix
Cofounder, Technology officer
Kevin is a software-focused computer engineer with a background in business. Having worked with both Fortune 1000 companies and various Boston-based software startups, he has a broad experience in many languages, team sizes and development practices. Kevin enjoys reading, fitness and hacking together weekend projects for fun.
